Team of Experts:

        Our team of tennis professionals offer a panoply of qualifications from high performance coaches to junior development specialists and cardio tennis instructors.

        Instruction is available to non-members. Private lessons are offered 7 days a week. Cardio tennis is offered almost daily. Our junior program starts at age 4 and includes introductory teen programs and advanced Academy for our tournament players, some of them nationally ranked. We offer 8 weeks of summer camps. Our adult team clinics and private lessons prepare our players for leagues and competition. During holidays we offer adult tennis camps. We also teach beginner adult private lessons to get players enjoying the sport of a lifetime.

  • ACC Player of the year - Member of the ACC 50 year anniversary team

Lucien Woorons

  • 40 years of experience coaching high performance athletes in gymnastics, fitness and tennis
  • Specializes in biomechanics, muscle memory, mental toughness and fitness training
  • Lucien coached Sophie from age 8 through her Junior international career and the WTA Tour, traveling around Europe and the US. His experience with competition and player development is unparalleled.
  • Lucien has been working at Brookstone since the opening in February 2006.
  • USPTA Certified.


Jonah Chitwood

  • Holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on health and fitness and a focus on strength and conditioning, group fitness, and personal training from the University of North Georgia.

  • A physical education student at Anderson University, Clay grew up playing at Brookstone. He is very popular with our junior players. Caring, gentle and knowledgeable, Clay inspires our players to love the sport of a lifetime while giving them a solid technical foundation.
